I’m feeling guilty about some recent impulse buys and other purchases totaling almost $150. Ugh, I don’t really NEED them. They will probably just add to my accumulation of stuff. That money could’ve gone to savings or investments. I’m beating myself up!

When you’re feeling like a crappy money manager, remember that nobody’s perfect. Focus on what you’re going to do to correct that misstep or moment of weakness. If you made a credit card purchase, vow to pay off the balance in full at the end of the month. If you’re in debt, remind yourself of your repayment plan and recommit yourself to that plan. Focus on your vision of financial freedom and take positive steps toward that goal!
